A carton that is pre-glued (side seam), and is delivered flat. It is quick and easy to assemble, fill and close. It has an aperture on the front panel for product visibility and the touch and feel of the garment—rather than a window (with film)—eliminating single use plastics and reducing cost (but potentially means the product could become soiled or foreign objects could enter the pack in the supply chain). It has an integral (unglued)/centrally hanging two ply euro slot (improved integrity and resistance to pack damage)—great for merchandising—but uses more material and adds costs in freight if not packed/shipped correctly. Consumer interfacing with this style of packaging is challenging—packaging opening/product access/removal and replacement—but commonly used all the same. The base—a sequence/or envelope base—creates a strong closure (and eliminates the need for any additional labels/stickers to keep it closed) that also eliminates any bowing. For deeper/wider packs this design solution not only reduces the amount of material used—but gives a stronger/more reliable closure.
