Knowledge Hub Q2:
Navigating Green Claims

On the 20th of May, we’re continuing our Nilörn Knowledge Hub expert series with its second edition. These webinar sessions are created with our existing clients in mind and are intended to share practical insights into labelling, compliance, and the evolving regulations shaping the fashion and textile industry.

This quarter, we are diving into the topic of Green Claims, with Jennifer Elze, Nilörn’s Global Compliance Specialist within Labelling, guiding us through how upcoming EU legislation will transform the way sustainability messaging is communicated across trims, and packaging.

What to expect:

  • Current status snapshot: Up-to-date insights on the latest regulations impacting the industry.

  • Focused insights: A deep dive into Green Claims legislation, including how they affect the way of communicating sustainability initiatives on products and its packaging and how Nilörn can support you throughout the journey.

  • Q&A session: An opportunity to ask questions and discuss key topics with a wider audience.

Nilörn releases 2024

Sustainability Report

Sustainability remains central to our strategy and to our vision of becoming “More fit for the Future.” In line with this commitment, we’re pleased to share our latest Sustainability Report.

A key focus in 2024 was our preparation for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). These efforts not only ensure compliance with upcoming regulations but also help us identify where our actions can make the most meaningful and measurable difference.

Among other key actions this year, we actively participated in initiatives such as the Nordic Circular Design Program and the Accelerating Circularity Initiative, supporting circular business models and textile recycling. We also increased our use of recycled materials and offer certified options like OEKO-TEX®, FSC™, GRS, and bluesign® to ensure traceability and responsible sourcing.

As part of our ongoing commitment, we have integrated sustainability reporting into our 2024 Annual Report — linking financial and environmental performance to enhance transparency.

Habit Impact Day 2025

With several new EU laws set to reshape the industry in the coming years, Habit Impact Day aims to serve as a key platform for exploring how the fashion and textile sectors can transition to a more sustainable and circular model by 2030.

As demands for transparency and circularity grow, digital solutions supporting full supply chain traceability and product-level mapping are becoming increasingly valuable.

Nilörn and Worldfavor will be on-site and look forward to connecting and sharing thoughts on how digital labelling and ESG data can support stronger, more resilient business models.
